Verde PR - Ellsworth’s Scant and Project Pink Epiphany Win Prestigious Women’s Adventure Magazine Editor’s Choice Award
Ellsworth Handcrafted Bicycles, designer and manufacturer of state-of-the-art bicycles, is honored to have won the first-ever Women’s Adventure Spring Editor’s Choice Award in the Road Cycling and Mountain Cycling categories. The Ellsworth Scant and Project Pink Epiphany were vigorously tested in fall 2008 and succeeded to earn the Women’s Adventure seal of quality for active women.
“I’m always really fulfilled when my bikes fill the measure of their creation and exceed the expectations of the riders. Attention to detail, personal investment and commitment of the designer to ‘the little things’ can manifest a huge performance difference in the products. I do it for the love of seeing this pleasant surprise in the eyes of the those who ride Ellsworth product,” says Tony Ellsworth, founder and president of Ellsworth Bikes.
Women’s Adventure Magazine is the only sports, travel and lifestyle magazine for women who thrive in the wild outdoors. The April issue will feature the Editor’s Choice Awards.
The Ellsworth Scant is a road machine built for speed and acceleration with race-inspired geometry. It is the only road bike you’ll need because it guarantees a fast, smooth and efficient ride wherever the wind takes you.
The Ellsworth Project Pink Epiphany has been named “ The Holy Grail of Trail Bikes” because of its lightweight frame and relaxed geometry that rolls over technical terrain like butter. Additionally, this award winning Project Pink bike donates $50 to the Susan G. Komen foundation for every frame sold in support of breast and ovarian cancer research and awareness.
