Tony Ellsworth is no 29er evangelist, but he was intrigued by the possibilities of the big wheel size. His one caveat: If he was going to make a full-suspension 29er, it had to ride like his 26-inch bikes. “If we could accomplish all the things handling-wise and package-wise - clearance, font derailleur mounts, the things that make ownership of the bike less of a drama - then why not do it?” he says.
