We’re on our 4 1/2 month honeymoon to mountain bike and rock climb around the United States. For a wedding present we received a Witness which fit us perfectly despite our one-foot spread in height. The epics began in Moab with several great rides including a 2-day, 70-mile backcountry adventure alongside Canyonlands National Park. Everywhere we go, we answer questions about the tandem and its capabilities. We’ve even ridden things that a crowd of “regular” bikes couldn’t do like climbing the steep walls on the Moab Slickrock trails. We’re a fairly unique site on the road with our tandem hanging off the back. We’ve even run into people who saw us a thousand miles earlier who remembered us because of the bike.
